Belgium raids: 'A number of arms were discovered'
Authorities in Belgium have confirmed that Islamist militants targeted in a major anti-terror operation had been planning to kill policemen.
Thirteen people were arrested late on Thursday and two others detained in France.
But the Belgian prosecutor says there is no apparent link to last week's Islamist attacks in Paris.
Speaking to the press Thierry Werts, spokesman for Belgian Federal Prosecutor, confirmed that they found guns and explosives.
