Germany: Greece must respect existing debt terms

The German finance minister has said Greece must respect existing agreements on the terms of its international bailout.

Speaking after talks in Berlin with his Greek counterpart Yanis Varoufakis, Wolfgang Schaeuble said a reduction of Greece's debt was off the agenda.

Mr Varoufakis has urged Germany to help end what he called the gross indignity of the Greek debt crisis.
