Alps plane crash: 'Usable sounds' on black box

Air accident investigators in France say it could take months to decipher cockpit recordings from the Airbus that crashed in the French Alps on Tuesday.

The black box recorder was badly damaged by the impact.

Remi Jouty is the director of the French Air Accident Investigation Bureau.

He said they have found recordings, but they have not yet been able to establish when in the flight they are from.
