Italy wants EU to take lead to deal with migrant crisis

Italy wants the European Union to take more responsibility for dealing with the large amount of migrants arriving in their country.

Thousands have travelled from North Africa to Italy, some of whom were rescued by the Italian coast guard while attempting to cross the Mediterranean.
