Stephen Fry urges Ireland to pass same-sex marriage referendum

Comedian Stephen Fry has urged voters in the Republic of Ireland to pass a referendum on same-sex marriage on Friday.

Fry, who married his partner Elliot Spencer earlier this year, addressed voters in the Irish language (Gaeilge).

He said: "I want the same happiness I have found to be afforded to those in Ireland too. Give people a chance to marry and have their love celebrated."
