Austria car crash: 'People were shouting and crying'

A car has ploughed into a crowd in central Graz, killing at least three people and injuring dozens of others, according to local media.

Local police confirmed the incident but did not give any further details. Austrian television said the man had been arrested and that police had sealed off the downtown area of the city.

Gallery owner Helmut Reinisch witnessed the crash and said people were shouting and crying at the scene.
