European Parliament President 'hopeful of Greek deal'

European Parliament President Martin Schulz has said that he hopes and thinks a deal can be done, as the clock ticks down for Greece to agree a salvage plan with its creditors.

The Athens government faces default if it fails to make a €1.6bn (£1.1bn) IMF debt repayment by Tuesday.
