Greek debt: Discord 'may lead to bankruptcy - Tusk
The President of the European Council, Donald Tusk, has called on delegates at the European Parliament to let bygones be bygones, and reach a consensus with Greece.
He said EU leaders had only four days to come to an agreement with Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras, who is also at the parliament on Wednesday.
"Our inability to find an agreement may lead to the bankruptcy of Greece and the insolvency of its banking system," he said.
"And for sure it will be most painful for the Greek people. I have no doubt that this will affect Europe, also in the geopolitical sense; if someone has any illusion that it will not, they are naive."
