Greek debt deal 'within 24 hours' - economy minister

Greece's latest proposals in negotiating with its creditors have been accepted by Eurozone finance ministers, the country's economy minister has told BBC News.

Giorgos Stathakis told Gavin Hewitt there would be a deal reached this weekend, and trust would be built "step by step".

Mr Stathakis said long-term loans would help the country to deal with its debt crisis.

Eurozone finance chiefs are assessing if Greece's new reform proposals merit a third debt bailout.
