Minister: Germany to 'limit influx' of migrants

Germany says it is introducing temporary checks on its border with Austria, following the arrival of record numbers of migrants and refugees over the weekend.

Rail traffic from Austria to Germany has also been suspended.

The German Interior Minister Thomas de Maiziere said the aim was to regulate the flow of people into Germany.
