Migrant crisis: Migrants enter Hungary at new crossing

A new border crossing has opened between Serbia and Hungary for migrants wanting to cross into Hungary.

This crossing has replaced the unofficial border crossings that the migrants were using until late Monday afternoon.

Hungary has brought in tough new migrant laws which it says will "start a new era" in preventing the inflow of illegal immigrants.

Police can now detain anyone who tries to breach a razor-wire fence built on the border with Serbia.
