EU: Billion euros to tackle migrant crisis
EU leaders meeting in Brussels have agreed on boosting aid to Syria's neighbours in a series of measures aimed at tackling the migrant crisis.
The emergency summit in Brussels ended with a pledge to increase aid for Lebanon, Jordan and Turkey, where millions of Syrians have fled.
The leaders also agreed donate €1bn (£700m, $1.1bn) to UN agencies.
The meeting was overshadowed by a row over the relocation of migrants.
