'I will not bow down' says Jean-Marie Le Pen

The founder of France's far-right National Front (FN) party Jean-Marie Le Pen has told BBC HARDtalk about the dispute with his daughter and about his feelings about reconciliation.

Mr Le Pen was expelled from the National Front (FN) in August following the feud with his daughter and party leader Marine.

He explained that he had held out his hand in reconciliation and was waiting for someone to take it, but was not willing to "bow down before anybody, not even before Marine"

"I would like us to re-unite within the National Front because without that unity Marine Le Pen will not be elected president," he added.
