Putin: France and Russia 'know about co-operation'

Russian President Vladimir Putin has told his French counterpart, Francois Hollande, that Russia is ready to co-operate in the fight against the so-called Islamic State (IS) group.

Mr Putin said France and Russia had both suffered terrorist attacks and the two countries should unite against a mutual enemy.

And he warned that those who apply ''double standards against terrorists... are playing with fire''.
