France regional elections: Polls give National Front lead

In France, the far-right National Front party is leading in six of the country's 13 regions after the first round of regional elections.

The governing Socialist party in France has called for a grand coalition to prevent the far-right National Front party from repeating its success in the second round of voting on Sunday.
