Russians brave snow for icy Epiphany dip

Members of Russia's Orthodox Church have been taking part in the Epiphany ritual of submerging themselves in freezing water.

Across the country, men and women took the plunge in waters blessed by priests, which they believe has healing powers.

Some eastern cities have seen temperatures as low as -30 Celsius.
