French action urged over Calais asylum-seeker children

More than 100 children currently living in the Calais migrant camp known as 'the jungle', are eligible to travel to the UK and be reunited with relatives here, according to the Children's Commissioner for England.

Anne Longfield is pushing for urgent action to speed up the processing of lone child asylum seekers.

She says the French Authorities are not providing proper protection to the children, some of whom appear to have gone missing.
