EU facing a 'crisis of solidarity' says Norbert Rottgen
A focus on national issues and lack of solidarity is putting the European Union in crisis, the chairman of Germany's Foreign Affairs Committee Norbert Rottgen has told BBC HARDtalk.
Explaining the EU had experienced a turning point and failure was now possible, Dr Rottgen called for the "foundations" of the European Union to be increased to counter the threats it was facing.
