UK's 'glaring absence' at EU summit after referendum

European Union leaders have warned that the UK will have to accept the free movement of people if it still wants access to the single market.

Representatives from the other 27 member states wrapped up their summit without the presence of the British prime minister, for the first time in more than 40 years.
