High turnout in French presidential primary

There has been a large turnout in the vote to choose a Republican Party candidate to run in next year's French presidential election.

Former president Nicolas Sarkozy is one of the favourites to progress in the primary, but could be threatened by the increased number of ballots, as the BBC's Hugh Schofield reports.
