Trump will commit to defence alliance, says Nato chief

Nato Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg has told the BBC that he is "very confident" that the US will remain a part of the defence alliance of 28 Nato members.

In an interview with the BBC's HARDtalk, he said that despite US President Donald Trump's comments repeatedly saying that Nato is "obsolete", he believed that the US administration was "committed to the transatlantic bond".
