Migrant rescued from ship's rudder by Italy coastguard

Italy's coastguard has dramatically pulled a migrant to safety after he was left clinging to a ship's rudder in the Mediterranean.

The man, who was rescued at the weekend, is one of about 50,000 migrants to reach Italian shores so far this year.
