King Felipe attends minute's silence in Barcelona

King Felipe VI and Spanish officials have gathered in Plaça de Catalunya in Barcelona to mark a minute's silence in honour of the victims of the terror attack.

Spontaneous applause and chants of "we are not afraid" broke out at the end of the silence.
