Taoiseach Micheál Martin: 'EU blindsided by AstraZeneca vaccine row'

Ireland's prime minister says an "acrimonious row" between AstraZeneca and the EU over vaccine supply took centre stage and "blindsided" the bloc in a decision to trigger an emergency Brexit clause.

Taoiseach Micheál Martin told the BBC's Andrew Marr that the EU's now reversed move which could have introduced Irish border checks was not an act of hostility.
