War in Ukraine: People flee Irpin after key bridge destroyed
Fighting is continuing on the outskirts of the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv, with shelling by Russian forces and outgoing fire by its defenders. Efforts to evacuate Ukrainians near the front line are continuing. The BBC's Abdujalil Abdurasulov is in the town of Irpin, northwest of Kyiv, where people fleeing are attempting to navigate a makeshift river crossing after a key bridge in the area was destroyed.
