Ukrainian first lady Olena Zelenska says the family misses spending time together

Ukrainian first lady Olena Zelenska says the family misses spending time together, in an interview with BBC chief international correspondent Lyse Doucet.

President Volodymyr Zelensky now lives at work, she says. She declines to say when the family last had dinner together, saying only that it is a rare event.

This is difficult for the couple's two children, Olena Zelenska says.

"We miss simple things, to be able to sit and talk for as long as we like."
