Scientists begin Irish Sea whale and dolphin survey

Sea ferries travelling between the Isle of Man and Lancashire are being used to monitor whale and dolphin activity in the Irish Sea.

An Isle of Man ferry company has allowed marine scientists on board over the coming months as studies are carried out to help with conservation measures.

The scientists are hoping to spot whales, dolphins as well as sharks.
