Isle of Man fishermen welcome return of herring catch
Fishermen on the Isle of Man have welcomed the return of the Manx herring fishery after being given rights to catch the fish in a post-Brexit deal.
Three Manx boats have been out catching the oily fish as part of the island's 100 tonne quota.
Environment Food and Agriculture Minister Clare Barber said that figure would rise in the coming years.
Fisherman Melvin Reid said he hoped the fishery would develop to become economically viable in the future.
