New technology used in conservation work in Sumatra

A former Durrell keeper has begun using the latest drone technology to help save great apes in Sumatra.

Dr Ian Singleton runs the only rehabilitation centre for Orangutans in the country and has started employing the latest technology in monitoring their habitat.

He said: "I see lots of interesting technologies coming out now that in five to ten years will give us lots of advantages."
