Cars swept away by floods in Barranquilla, Colombia

Flood waters swept away cars and buses in a busy street in the city of Barranquilla, Colombia.

Passengers climbed on the roofs of their vehicles in order to escape the torrents of water, but there were no reported deaths or serious injuries.

Colombia has suffered from heavy rains and floods for nearly a year, which has displaced around three million people and killed hundreds.
