Peru election: Ollanta Humala declares victory
A left-winger who once had close ties with Venezuela's Hugo Chavez has declared victory in Peru's run-off presidential election.
Early results indicate Ollanta Humala has a narrow lead over his right-wing opponent Keiko Fujimori, the daughter of the disgraced former President Alberto Fujumori.
