Mexican and Peruvian artefacts go on display in Mexico City
"Contested Visions in the Spanish Colonial World" is a joint project by the Los Angeles County Museum of Art and Mexico's National Institute of Anthropology and History exhibiting 170 artefacts found in Mexico and Peru dating back to the 15th to 19th Centuries.
Colonial-era paintings, sculptures, room dividers and textiles are all on display at Mexico City's Chapultepec Castle.
