Brazilian cities among the 'most expensive' for foreign workers
A recent study by the consulting firm Mercer has identified Rio and São Paulo as the most expensive cities in Latin America for foreign workers to live in.
It is thought an over-valued currency, high taxes and the rise of the new Brazilian middle-class are just some of the factors that have pushed up the country's cost of living.
