Naming the streets of Costa Rica's capital

Costa Rica's capital, San Jose, has started installing 22,000 street signs as part of a plan to put an end to the current informal address system in the city.

While many of the city's 2.6 million residents are happy to write directions instead of addresses and postcodes on their letters, authorities are determined to change the situation.
