Venezuela: Nicolas Maduro wins 'narrow' victory
Venezuela's acting president has been declared the winner in the election to replace Hugo Chavez, who died of cancer last month.
Election officials say Nicolas Maduro beat the opposition candidate, Henrique Capriles, by a narrow margin of around 300,000 votes.
Mr Capriles said he refused to accept the result without a recount, and said he believed that Mr Maduro had lost the election.
