Venezuelans caught short as toilet paper supplies run low
The government of Venezuela is trying to import 50 million rolls of toilet paper before supermarket shelves run out of stock.
Some economists say that the shortage of basic goods - which also include milk, butter and coffee - is a result of the socialist government's price control policies.
However, President Nicolas Maduro, has said the shortages are the result of a conspiracy campaign by the opposition and rich sectors of society.
