Brazil police clash with squatters in Rio de Janeiro

Police and squatters have clashed in Rio de Janeiro as officials moved in to evict up to 5,000 people from a building belonging to a local telecommunications company.

The squatters had been occupying the area for 10 days and Brazil's courts ordered the repossession of the plot a week ago.
