Cuba: Raul Castro defiant following agreement with US

The Cuban President, Raul Castro, has addressed the closing session of parliament just days after announcing an agreement with the United States to re-establish diplomatic ties.

Mr Castro said there was still much to be done in terms of normalizing relations with Washington, but thanked President Obama for his willingness to roll back the decades of frozen relations.
