Henrique Capriles wants to replace President Maduro

There's no doubt that Venezuela is a country on the brink. With food in short supply, more and more people are going hungry. Hospitals are not functioning and the availability of medication is said to be at one fifth of normal levels.

Moves to force the President, Nicolas Maduro, to step down are gathering fresh steam. One of his most vocal critics is Henrique Capriles who narrowly lost to Nicolas Maduro in a disputed presidential election in 2013. The opposition wants to get rid of the President via a recall referendum.
