100 Women 2016: Backstage at our Mexico City festival

The BBC's 100 Women season held its first ever live festival - in Mexico City.

We went backstage to talk to some of the inspirational musicians and artists entertaining the crowds, and to watch people experiencing an innovative virtual reality experience.

Our 100 Women season showcases three weeks of inspirational stories about 100 influential and inspirational women around the world . We create documentaries, features and interviews, giving more space for stories that put women at the centre.
