Sculpture of comatose Ariel Sharon goes on display in Israel

A sculpture of former Israeli leader Ariel Sharon has gone on display at an art exhibition in Tel Aviv.

Israeli artist Noam Braslavsky created a life-size sculpture of the comatose Sharon - in which he can also be seen and heard breathing.

Raanan Gissin, a former advisor and friend of Sharon, said that he did not want to remember the former prime minister as comatose but as the active figure he once was.
