Lone tourists make most of empty Egypt resort

Two lone tourists are making the most of their empty resort that is determined to stay open, as Egypt's travel industry is hit hard by the ongoing protests.

British nationals Rory and Lucy MacDiarmid were determined to continue their dream of driving through the Horn of Africa by camper van. They arrived in Egypt after travelling through Tunisia and Libya.

The recent political unrest over the past two weeks has caused extensive damage to Egypt's economy, including the tourism sector with as many as 15 million tourists visiting the country every year.
