Libya doctor: 'Protests spreading amid massacre'

A doctor in Benghazi has told the BBC that more then 200 anti-government protesters have died in a "massacre" when Libyan troops opened fire during a funeral procession on Saturday.

The woman, who called herself Brayka, said that she could hear gunfire as violence continued on the streets of the city and that her sources suggested growing unrest in other parts of Libya.

The amateur video accompanying this interview purportedly shows recent unrest in several Libyan towns and cities.
