Libya unrest: 'Tense, jumpy' scenes at Tripoli airport

The UN Security Council is gathering in New York to consider action against Muammar Gaddafi's government in Libya, as thousands continue to flee the country.

Much of Libya, especially the east, is now controlled by anti-Gaddafi forces but the Libyan leader still holds most of Tripoli.

The BBC's Middle East editor, Jeremy Bowen, has been allowed into the capital under official escort and observed chaotic scenes at the city's airport.
