Yemen president warns of danger of civil war
Yemen President, Ali Abdullah Saleh, has given his strongest indication yet that he is preparing to step down by the end of the year.
He warned that Yemen was in danger of collapsing into civil war after the defection of several military commanders.
Tanks from rival factions have been on the streets of the capital, Sanaa, and recently it has been reported that an airbase in the west of the country has switched its allegiance to the rebels.
