Britons warned to keep low profile in Iran

Britons staying in Iran are being warned to stay indoors and to keep a low profile after hundreds of protesters stormed two British diplomatic compounds in Tehran.

Iran has apologised for the attacks. Britain has warned the Islamic state faces serious consequences.

The British Foreign secretary will make a statement in parliament later.
