Iran blames 'foreign interference' for region's troubles

Pakistan's President Zardari has reportedly offered assurances to Iran that his country will not provide any platform for the US to attack Iran.

Mr Zardari is hosting a trilateral summit with President Ahmedinejad, and President Karzai of Afghanistan, who has already called on Pakistan to help negotiate a peace deal with the Taliban.

Speaking at a joint news conference through a translator, the Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said all problems in the region were the result of foreign interference.
