Afghanistan's Karzai in Pakistan for Taliban talks

Afghan President Hamid Karzai is holding talks in Pakistan, aimed at trying to bring the Taliban into the peace process.

Mr Karzai says there has been contact between the US and Afghan governments and the Taliban, but the militants have denied the claim.

But there are concerns that Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmedinejad's presence at the talks, where he will be focusing on trade issues, could overshadow proceedings.

Aleem Maqbool reports from Islamabad.
