Syria crisis: 'Limited progress' on aid
UN humanitarian chief Valerie Amos has said the Syrian government has agreed to join UN agencies in a "limited assessment" of the situation in the country, where government forces continued a crackdown on rebels.
Lady Amos was speaking in neighbouring Turkey, after her visit to Syria. She repeated her call for unhindered humanitarian access.
In Syria, activists say government forces have killed at least 40 civilians in the latest violence.
