Syria massacre: 'Calculated attempts' to cover up in Qubair
UN monitors have been in the Syrian village of Qubair to investigate the scene of a massacre which took place on Wednesday.
The BBC's Paul Danahar, who was travelling with them, said they were met by the smell of burnt flesh in gutted buildings, and there had been clear attempts to cover up after the massacre.
People in the area said that everybody in Qubair "had died except for a few", according to UN spokeswoman Sausan Ghosheh.
She said that the UN was still trying to establish the number of people dead or missing and was trying to compile a list with the help of local people.
